Coatings based on conducting polymers and functionalized carbon nanotubes obtained by electropolymerization

► Were obtained nanocomposite films SWCNTs-octadecylamine and SWCNT-COOH by cyclic voltammetry. ► Electrochemically synthesized composite films of PANI and FSWCNTs have in common a porous structure. ► The Nyquist plots for both PANI and composite films have indicated a capacitive behavior. ► The PANI and FSWCNTs films reveal a morphological structure composed of nanofibers. ► Microstructures of these composites suggests that PANI was wrapped around FSWCNTs.
