The preparation and characterization of urushiol powders (YPUOH) based on urushiol

Powder-typed urushiols (YPUOH were successfully prepared with urushiol and TPM for convenient handling. And then, the reaction mechanism has been evaluated based on FTIR and NMR. As-prepared YPUOH powders were investigated their feasibility to use as an additive for functional paint, coating films and food packaging containers.
