Hybrid bioreactor (HBR) of hollow fiber microfilter membrane and cross-linked laccase aggregates eliminate aromatic pharmaceuticals in wastewaters

- CLEA-Lac was recycled by a MF membrane without a significant loss of activity.
- There was a clear synergistic effect between the CLEA-Lac and the MF membrane.
- HBR achieved more than 90% eliminations of the three selected pharmaceuticals.
- HBR could be used as an innovative bioprocess to eliminate micropollutants.
