Duct-venting of dust explosions in a 20Â L sphere at elevated static activation overpressures

Duct-vented dust explosion experiments at elevated static activation overpressures, ranging from 1.8 bar to 6 bar, were carried out in a 20 L chamber with different duct lengths and diameters. The secondary explosion occurring in the duct and its influence on the maximum reduced overpressure in the vessel are discussed.
