Patterns of pedestrian attitudes, perceptions and behaviour in Europe

► Attitudes and behaviour of pedestrians in Europe are analysed from SARTRE 4 data. ► Eight attitude/behaviour components and three groups of pedestrian were identified. ► The first group involves pedestrians with positive behaviour and attitudes. ► The second group involves pedestrians with negative behaviour and attitudes. ► The third group involves pedestrians with positive behaviour and mixed attitudes.
