Nanoemulsion-templated polylelectrolyte multifunctional nanocapsules for DNA entrapment and bioimaging

- Model DNA molecules were deposited on the nanoemulsion core loaded by IR-780 indocyanine.
- The nanoemulsions were stabilized by quaternary ammonium gemini surfactants.
- Ternary phase diagrams of the surfactant-oil-water systems were determined by titration method.
- Multifunctional nanocapsules with CHIT shell were obtained by layer-by-layer approach.
- Biological response of the MCF-7/WT, A549 and MEWO cells was evaluated.
