چکیده انگلیسی

- Aqueous colloidal hybrid nanoparticles (NPs) that are both superparamagnetic and luminescent in the NIR were prepared from SPION and different sized Ag2S NIR quantum dots with emission between 825 and 890 nm, in a simple extraction method using ligand exchange principle.
- Hybrid NPs provided strong optical signals diminishing natural autofluoresence in the in vitro cell studies, indicating great potential as optical imaging agents.
- Cellular uptake was increased under magnetic field demonstrating ability of magnetic targeting.
- Cell viability, NP uptake and hemocompatibility of hybrid NPs indicate mostly cyto-hemocompatible nature.
