Polymer-hybridized liposomes of poly(amino acid) derivatives as transepidermal carriers

- Polymer hybridized liposomes (PHL) were examined as transepidermal carriers.
- PHL system reduces the cytotoxicity of lipophilic drugs in cultured skin cells.
- Skin permeation of the lipophilic drugs is enhanced by encapsulation in PHL.
- PHL improve the chemical stability of drugs in colloidal solutions.
