Research on interface bonding energy of multi-layer model on ZChSnSb/FeSn2/Steel

Microscopic tests on the interface of ZChSnSb/Steel bimetallic composite specimens were conducted using such methods as SEM, EDS and XRD. The results indicate that the transition layer on FeSn2 could be produced when ZChSnSb was bonded with Steel. Based on test results, the three-layer composite model on ZChSnSb/FeSn2/Steel was constructed, and the model was optimized using Newton-Raphson methods. The formulas on the interface energy of the three-layer composites were deduced, and the interface bonding energy at different temperatures was calculated. The calculated results proved that the optimal bonding temperature of the model is 280 °C and the optimal interlayer thickness of transition layer on FeSn2 at 280 °C is 15.396 A.
