Tribological method to objectify similarity of vague tactile sensations experienced during application of liquid cosmetic foundations

► Tribotests are performed in lubrication with emulsion foundations. ► From reciprocating rubbing tests, various trajectory shapes can be obtained. ► These results are compared with the results of sensory tests. ► We find the trajectory shapes reflect the similarity of the vague tactile sensations.
