Deviation of the results obtained from different commercial finite element solvers due to friction formulation

► We modelled ring compression tests with different commercial FEM solvers. ► Results showed deviations, although all input parameters were the same. ► Deviations were maximal for friction factors typical for metal forming. ► Reason for this is different contact handling in the solvers.
