Selective adsorption and separation of organic dyes in aqueous solutions by hydrolyzed PIM-1 microfibers

- The carboxylated PIM-1 fibers were prepared by hydrolysation reaction.
- The hydrolyzed PIM-1 fibers have selective adsorption property towards anionic and cationic dyes.
- The hydrolyzed PIM-1 fibers also exhibited high adsorption capacities towards heavy metal ions.
