Dynamical behaviour of carbon nanotubes

In this study we intend to demonstrate that the straight carbon nanotubes can be transformed into ‘wavy’ nanotubes (and vice versa) as a result of topological transformations. The transformation is modelled in the DTMM (Desktop Molecular Modeller) system.
