Preparation and characterization of ionic liquid polymer microspheres [PEEKWC/DMF/CYPHOS IL 101] using the phase-inversion technique

► Ionic liquid encapsulated polymeric microsphere prepared by phase inversion process. ► Novelty behind this work is the amalgamation of two conventional processes. ► The technique is easy to handle as well less time consumption. ► Loading capacity of ionic liquid in a polymer matrix can be controlled. ► Upscale of the current technique for mass production of ILMCs also possible.
