A comparative study between electrical capacitance tomography and time-resolved X-ray tomography

► The strengths and weaknesses of two tomographs are discussed. ► 3D bubble data were obtained and compared with existing correlations via the RMSEP. ► Bubble frequencies are obtained and presented for both tomographs. ► Conclusion was that both tomographs are useful, depending on the application.
