Toward a Multisensory Expert System for Beach Advisories

This paper presents a case study based on a real world situation to illustrate the use of Earth Observation data and describe the issues that could be addressed using intelligent manufacturing technologies. Components of solutions based on an expert system approach are proposed, and their strengths and limitations are discussed.
