A model for aluminium quenching process optimal setup

The quenching aluminum process is introduced and its complexity associated to setup optimization and closed loop control reviewed. Additionally the basics about a physical mathematical model together with the necessary optimization strategies and some enabling optimization technologies are here summarized.
