- PPT as a selective and sensitive optical sensor for detection of Hg2+ was constructed.
- PPT displays fluorescence “turnoff/turn-on” characteristics responses to I− and Hg2+.
- Rapid and visual detection for Hg2+ in seafood was established.
- The sensing characteristics of the PPT and detection performance were fully studied.
