Tf-PEG-PLL/MNP@siPLK1 condensed the siPLK1 and protected siPLK1 from enzymatic degradation. The siPLK1 was effectively accumulated in the brain by external magnetic field. Then, more siPLK1 was transported across BBB through TfR mediated endocytosis and transcytosis. Finally, Tf-PEG-PLL/MNP@siPLK1 delivered more siPLK1 into the center of the GBM, consequently increasing its transfection activity and anti GBM activity in vivo.207
