Amphiphilic poly(α)glutamate polymeric micelles for systemic administration of siRNA to tumors

Amphiphilic poly(α)glutamate was synthesized and complexed with siRNA using a microfluidic chip. The obtained polyplex was physico-chemico-biologically characterized and optimized to shed light on the desired properties required for in vitro silencing efficacy. When intravenously administered to mammary-adenocarcinoma tumor-bearing mice, the polyplexes selectively accumulated at the tumor site.165
