Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the primary malignant hepatoma, the incident rates have been increases rapidly for the past few years. Currently, nanoparticle based combination chemotherapy is a blooming area of conventional chemotherapy which is an overwhelming tailored therapeutic approach for HCC. We have conjugated ZnO nanoparticles (ZnONPs) with ferulic acid (ZnONPs-FAC) with simple and cost effective methods, further we demonstrate in vitro and in vivo anticancer efficacy ZnONPs, FA and ZnONPs-FAC on Huh-7 and HepG2 liver cancer cells and in DEN induced HCC model, the result divulged that ZnONPs-FAC has shown synergetic anticancer effect.276
