► Frontal beta power is increased after errors until onset of the next trial. ► After errors, increase of occipital alpha power is delayed and enhanced. ► Amplitude of the visual N1 is increased after errors. ► There is no indication of increased inhibition in trials following an error. ► The priming account of post-error slowing is supported.
