Sobre la velocidad del dinero en México, 1980-2014. Algunos elementos cualitativos

This paper analyzes some qualitative topics on the velocity of money in Mexico during the period 1980-2014 with four main themes: the evolution of the level of aggregates (monetary base, M1 and M2), the velocity of money, the link between money and prices and the link between money and his velocity with a main conjecture: that the velocity of money in Mexico has been stable for a long time, especially if one considers the US velocity, despite real and nominal instability of the critical variables and the precariousness of the available monetary series.
