The effects of community social capital on school performance: A spatial approach

► Exploring the relationship between social capital and student performance is the primary objective of this paper. ► We are using Geographical Information System (GIS) to measure the social capital index. ► We find that higher stock of social capital in a community significantly increases public school's performance.
