This article examines the theory of Newsmaking. Its background and development are analyzed in relation to the newsmaker's studies, focusing on the processes and productive routines. This article discusses the main arguments around the newmaker as part of a complex process involving the news making. At the same time, we propose to provide to the discussion on new studies of the media in a context of multiplication of technology and the prominence of the audience.
