The price-setting newsvendor with nonlinear salvage revenue and shortage cost

We consider the price-setting newsvendor problems with linear additive demand, nonlinear salvage revenue and nonlinear shortage penalty costs. We prove existence-uniqueness of the optimal solution and investigate the equivalence of our model to related models in the literature.
