Calculation of a static potential created by plane fractal cluster

► New approach that can help in calculation of electrostatic potential of fractal cluster is formulated. ► The self-similar distribution of charges generates a potential having non-integer power-law behavior with oscillating log-periodic part. ► This result has the principal value because it follows from the self-similar structure of the system considered.
