Alteration of α-tocopherol-associated protein (TAP) expression in human breast epithelial cells during breast cancer development

► Higher TAP expression was found in normal than in tumour breast cancer tissues. ► Her2/neu, staging and metastasis correlates to TAP expression in breast cancer. ► α-TOS enhanced the sensitivity of breast cancer cells to chemotherapy treatment. ► Normal breast epithelial cells were not affected by α-TOS and combine chemotherapy.
