Migration and exposure assessment of silver from a PVC nanocomposite

► Migration experiments were carried out on laboratory produced nanosilver PVC composites into a real food matrix. ► The migration experiments were carried out at two temperature levels and for two time durations. ► The migration results were used to assess the subsequent human exposure that could ensue. ► A sensitivity analysis was carried out which highlighted the most influential factors on the migration.
