A new palladium chelate compound for determination of sulfide

► We synthesized a new palladium chelate compound: bis(2-aminobenzoate)palladium(II). ► The palladium chelate reacts quantitatively with sulfide. ► The reaction leads to increase of fluorescence intensity. ► The method was applied to determine sulfide in freshwater.
