This paper calculates the potential energy curves, spectroscopic parameters, transition dipole moments, and transition probabilities of the SiC+ radical. The rotationless radiative lifetimes of vibrational levels are approximately 10â7â¯s for the 24Î and 24Σâ states, 10â5 to 10â6â¯s for the 22Σâ state and the first well of 14Î state, 10â5â¯s for the e2Î state, and very short for the second well of 14Î state. From a spectroscopic standpoint, the a2Î, b2Î , c2Σâ, d2Σ+, A4Î, and 14Σ+ states are insignificant. The Einstein coefficients of emissions are large between the 22Σâ and the c2Σâ state, the e2Î and the a2Î state, the 24Σâ and the X4Σâ state, the 24Î and the X4Σâ state, the first well of 14Î state and the X4Σâ state, as well as the second well of 14Î state and the 14Σ+ state. The SOC effect on the spectroscopic parameters is insignificant for all the states except for the second well of the 14Î state.139
