Molecular complexes of l-phenylalanine with substituted 1,4-benzoquinones in aqueous medium: Spectral and theoretical investigations

UV-Vis, FT-IR, and fluorescence spectral techniques were employed to investigate the mechanism of interaction of l-phenylalanine with 1,4-benzoquinone possessing varying number of methoxy/chloro substituents (MQ1-4).
