Optical and structural investigation of Dy3+-Nd3+ co-doped in magnesium lead borosilicate glasses

The Dy3+ ions - Nd3+ codoped magnesium lead borosiliate specified glass exhibits intensive bluish yellow color which is nearer to the white color. The inserted Fig shows how the yellow to blue (Y/B) intensity ratio are varied; it may be due to strong influenced of hypersensitive on the local environment of Dy3+ ions in the glass network. The same results also observe in the color intensity coordinates (CIE). They are mention in the along with tri-stimulus values. CIE coordinates also acclaimed that these glasses are suitable for bluish yellow emission.
