Investigation on the influence of foreign metal ions in crystal growth and characterization of l-Alaninium Maleate (LAM) single crystals

- The incorporation Cd2+ is confirmed by single crystal XRD, EDS analysis.
- Band gap energies have been estimated.
- Cd2+ doping enhances the thermal, mechanical, optical stabilities and SHG efficiencies.
- Dopant Cd2+ on LAM crystal is quite useful for optical applications.
