Achieving high-efficiency electrocatalyst with admirable stability for carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CRR) is a drastic challenge. Here we report that silver sulfide (Ag2S) nanoparticles loaded on reduced graphene oxide (rGO), which is synthesized through the straightforward hydrothermal methods, as a novel catalyst to exhibit outstanding catalytic activity with remarkable selectivity (87.4%) for conversion of CO2 to CO. The Ag2S/N-S-doped rGO hybrids displays durable stability with no degradation in current density (â¼70â¯Î¼Aâ¯cmâ2) over 40â¯h continuous potentiostatic operations. The high performance manifestly demonstrates that the Ag2S/N-S-doped rGO hybrids has potential application as an efficient catalyst in CO2 reduction. Our research renders a pioneering rGO-based nonprecious-metal CRR catalyst in fuel cells.
