Hydrogen bond cross-linked sulfonated poly(imino ether ether ketone) (PIEEK) for fuel cell membranes A series of novel hydrogen bond cross-linked sulfonated poly(imino ether ether ketone) (SPIEEK) have been obtained. The resulting SPIEEK membranes displayed much better resistance to swelling, higher proton conductivity, good mechanical properties and lower methanol permeability than that of traditional SPEEK due to the hydrogen bondings between the polymer chains.172
