Soybean-derived mesoporous carbon as an effective catalyst support for electrooxidation of methanol

348Pt nano sized dendrites supported on soybean-derived-carbon (CS) have shown a higher activity than Pt/XC-72 for CO and methanol oxidation, which is attributed to the synergy effect between mesoporous CS support and Pt nano sized dendrites.
