Synthesis of SnO2 nano hollow spheres and their size effects in lithium ion battery anode application

► Size controlled SnO2 hollow spheres are synthesized for an anode of LIB. ► The size of hollow sphere strongly affects the electrochemical properties. ► The reversible capacity of 25 nm hollow sphere is ∼750 mA g−1 after 50 cycles.
