Effect of MnO2 modification on electrochemical performance of LiNi0.2Li0.2Mn0.6O2 layered solid solution cathode

► LiNi0.2Li0.2Mn0.6O2 powders are coated by MnO2 with different methods. ► The electrochemical performances of LiNi0.2Li0.2Mn0.6O2 are improved after coating. ► The first coulomb efficiency is increased from 65.9 to 82.7% after MnO2 coating.
