Elaboration and characterization of a free standing LiSICON membrane for aqueous lithium-air battery

► A watertight and free-standing LiSICON membrane with a low thickness (40 μm). ► This membrane has a low lithium ion resistance (38 Ω cm2 for a 55 μm membrane). ► A lithium half-cell based on this LiSICON membrane is made. ► A lithium film is grown during the charge of this half-cell.
