Enhanced electrochemical properties of LiFe1−xMnxPO4/C composites synthesized from FePO4·2H2O nanocrystallites

► Pre-synthesized FePO4·2H2O nanocrystallites are used to synthesize LiFe1−xMnxPO4. ► Well-ordered LiFe1−xMnxPO4 (x = 0.85, 0.75, 0.65) nanostructures form. ► LiFe1−xMnxPO4/C composites have enhanced electrochemical properties. ► LiFe0.25Mn0.75PO4 sample exhibits the best electrochemical performances.
