The thermomechanical stability of micro-solid oxide fuel cells fabricated on anodized aluminum oxide membranes

► We report much improved thermomechanical stability of micro-SOFCs on AAO. ► Mechanical stability of membrane and thermal stability of Pt electrode are secured. ► The OCV of the cell was perfectly retained during the test time. ► 90% of the initial power was sustained even after ∼17 h (1000 min) of operation.
