Electronic conductivity of Ni-doped yttria-stabilized zirconia

► Ni doping decreased the electron conduction of Y2O3-stabilized ZrO2 (YSZ). ► Oxygen potential distribution in the Ni-doped YSZ was calculated. ► The lower oxygen potential region was agreement with the darkly colored region.
