Structure, ionic conductivity and electrochemical stability of Li2S-P2S5-LiI glass and glass-ceramic electrolytes

► The (100 − x)(0.7Li2S·0.3P2S5)·xLiI glass-based electrolytes were prepared. ► The conductivity of the glasses increased with increasing the LiI content. ► The glass-ceramics showed higher conductivity than the glasses at small LiI content. ► The glass with 20 mol% LiI exhibited a wide electrochemical window of 10 V.
