Multinuclear NMR studies of aqueous vanadium-HEDTA complexes

N-(2-hydroxyethyl)ethylenediamine-N,N′,N′-triacetic acid (HEDTA) is a metal ion chelator similar to ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid that forms two complexes with vanadium(V). The structure of the complexes were investigated using multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and the formation constants for each complexes were determined.42
