Two novel unsymmetrical ferrocene based azines and their complexing abilities towards Cu(II): Spectroscopy, crystal structure, electrochemistry and DFT calculations

Two new ferrocenyl-substituted unsymmetrical azine ligands and their Cu(II) complexes have been prepared and characterized. The electrochemical behaviors of the compounds were explained by experimental and theoretical studies.
