Assessment of population genetic diversity of Fagopyrum tataricum using SSR molecular marker

► We investigate genetic diversity of Fagopyrum tataricum using SSR markers. ► Genetic diversity among the population was higher than that within population. ► Diversity analysis also provided the altitudinal variation among the population. ► We show a significant genetic differentiation with AMOVA. ► We find correlation between altitude, Shannon index, polymorphism and gene diversity.
