Chemical constituents from Tithonia diversifolia and their chemotaxonomic significance

► Two new compounds and fourteen known compounds were obtained from Tithonia diversifolia. ► The new compounds might be a chemotaxonomic marker of the species T. diversifolia. ► It could be useful to differentiated T. diversifolia from other species of Tithonia.
