Synthesis and biological evaluation of new 3-(6-hydroxyindol-2-yl)-5-(Phenyl) pyridine or pyrazine V-Shaped molecules as kinase inhibitors and cytotoxic agents

► New 3-(6-hydroxyindol-2-yl)-5-(phenyl) pyridine or pyrimidine were prepared using palladium catalyzed processes. ► V-Shaped library was obtained. ► Nanomolar DYRK1A inhibitors were found. Docking studies explained the results. ► Low toxic active drugs were found as lead to design new treatments for SNC disorders.
