The synthesis of highly electroactive N-doped carbon nanotube/polyaniline/Au nanocomposites and their application to the biosensor

► Novel N-doped carbon nanotube/polyaniline/Au composites were synthesized. ► This composite showed excellent electrochemical activity. ► It could be used to modify electrode to detect H2O2 at low overpotential. ► The H2O2 sensor exhibited good reproducibility and stability. ► Furthermore, this H2O2 sensor could detect glucose in human serum.
